MyActionPix is run and hosted by AST Software Solutions LTD. This privacy policy explains what information about you we collect and why, when using these services.

What information about you do we request or collect?

Clearly, as a photography website, we may hold images of you and your family so that you can buy, share or sell them. You can request that these images are removed, or to be provided with (watermarked) specimens, but may be asked to prove your identity to do so.

In order to allow you to login, reset your password and be notified about events or pictures that you have requested to be notified about, we will store your email address.

We may need to collect and store your name, address and other identifying and contact details and provide them to users managing clubs and other organisatiions using the website, in order to verify or confirm your membership of their organisation.

We may need to collect your name, address, bank details and other identifying and contact details in order to recieve or make payments when buying or selling products and services. Only the information needed to make/receive payment will be collected, and most of it will be passed straight to the payment processing company

How do we collect information about you

We will almost always collect information about you by asking you to provide it in a simple form, if it's not clear why we're asking for it, we will provide a notice explaining why

We may attempt to help you find images of your club/team, yourself or your family and friends by attempting to use optical character recognition algorithms on bib numbers or to recognise club names & logos. This would only be used to help people find images of themselves, and may require proof of club membership or identity to protect your privacy. Using such algorithms may not always work, it may result in identifying you or others wrongly, and it may not be reliable enough for us to bother with trying to use it at all

How will we use information about you

We will use any information we have about you to enable you to use the site and it's services. We may occasionally send you information about our own services in the site that we think you may be interested, to notify you of any problems or to notify you about events and photos, etc that you wanted to be told about.

Marketing

We may occasionally send you information about our own services in the site that we think you may be interested in. You can opt out of receiving such marketing information from us in your account settings.

We won't be sharing your information for anybody else to contact you for marketing purposes, only to provide specific products & services you have requested, for example buying a print or arranging a photoshoot

Accessing & correcting information we hold about you

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, you also have the right to request we remove or correct any information we hold about you.

Obviously, we're trying to provide a service you will enjoy and find helpful and don't want to get that wrong, so please do contact us with any corrections. We don't want to infringe on anybody's privacy or cause any harm or upset so please do contact us if you want us to remove pictures or any other information about you

We use cookies to check your logged in session in order to use the site, and may use cookies to check your access to pictures or galleries protected by a token or password.

We don't use cookies for marketing or behaviour tracking, but if you are logged in, we may use the session linked to the cookie to provide some simple, helpful features for navigation such as recently viewed pages or photos.
